When Jake and Fiona are together you know they are meant to be and I can’t wait to see what is going to take place with the rest of the MacLeans.
Be the first to ask a question about How to Abduct a Highland Lord. However, what I will tell you is that this was a great book for me to read. Years earlier Jack and Fiona had a affair and I did not read the books in order and you really do not need to in order to follow the story, but it is helpful in the later books because they do reference characters.
Sleepless in Scotland 5. I’m not sure what the exact words were but it’s something like that. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

I mean the story was a bit untouched, I would say. Though the hero was supposed to a strapping young man, often times I pictured him as an adorable matrimonip fellow. About th My goodness! How to Abduct a Highland Lord is about a family feud, a curse, and the two people caught in it. They never missed u opportunity to fight one another and one of these fights has ended with a Maclean brother dead and the rest fuming with thoughts of vengeance.
I think the author should have included an epilogue or something. Black Jack Kincaid had his roguish heart broken years ago when the beautiful green-eyed Fiona MacLean changed her mind on his offer of marriage. This book is even better the second time.
Picture ‘Black’ Jack Kincaid thundering down a dark Scottish road when it suddenly begins to storm and the thunder startles his horse. I tried to warm to the heroes and though there were a few characteristics that made me like them and root for them, I think it’s perfettk author’s fault that she didn’t give us enough to fall in love with them.
I like my unwilling to love heroes to have a little angst over the intensity of their feelings before confessing, I have to say. The characters are simple with no real depth but they are still likeable. It is the first in the MacLean Curse Series.
I always like to read about strong women. No big heavy plot just a delightful silly read that has some witty moments.

I really enjoyed this book. They both clearly cared matrimlnio each other but were too proud to confess or bend to the other’s will.

That means that when her emotions are running high it affects the weather. It I picked up this book because of the fun and cute cover that grabbed my eye and then when I read the plot, it made me chuckle: Even though he still desires her, Jack swears he will not change his life now he is wed and is determined to carry on drinking, gambling and car Fiona MacLean is determined to save her family from a bloody clan war with the Kincaids.
And now it’s years later and Fiona is desperate to bind herself to Jack Kincaid, whether he likes it or not. Before we were down a few chapters they were already married and fighting. If any of you are looking for something light and fun that will leave you nice and content then this is it. Lists with This Book.
However, when one just wants to feel good and read a solid book with an open mind it is rather perfect. Fiona is one of the feistiest romance heroine I have read since reading the previous story with her ancestor Fia.
This is not a series I’ll probably continue and I regret spending money on this book. Also if Fiona and her brothers does as good deed then their curse will be lifted.
Usually it is always the heroine who is forced to marry, so it was interesting to see that Karen Hawkins took an unique spin on this storyline and I was intrigued to see how she would pull it off. He is not thrilled when he sobers up and finds himself married.
